I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Registered Nurse license, a PeriOperative Nurse certification, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Health Science degree. The College of Nurses of Ontario is the governing body for Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in Ontario, Canada. Its purpose is to protect the public by promoting safe nursing care. All practicing nurses must maintain membership which is renewed annually. As an RN, I am responsible and accountable for adhering to the profession's standards of practice as per CNO guidelines.

The Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) is the professional association representing registered nurses (RN), nurse practitioners (NP) and nursing students in Ontario.
I utilize my membership for practice liability protection and as a resource for educational events, nursing and healthcare information, and networking opportunities. I renew my membership annually.
